Outcome of the Manifesto co-editing session 8 Oct:
We also thought it could be a good idea to look at workers rights in the waste sector and create synergies with the garment sector as a whole. Workers at landfills and recycling centers often work in exploitive circumstances as well. A worker-led initiative is preferred above a research-led one.
