Those were numerous and each one very valueable for developing our joint Just Transition Manifesto of the Clean Clothes Campaign.
The manifesto editing and writing committees have carefully read through all proposals and survey results and feedback and harvested from these the following draft manifesto parts.
We invite you now to critically examine, comment, vote on and amend these till 31st January!

💬Read the first draft, launched January 2026
After your comments we will come together as editorial comittee to draft the final version. It will be circulated on the 7th February and you will have until 31 March 2026 to send in your final comments. We will meet in the Youth meets Workers Forum from 25th to 27th March in Belgrade to finalize the manifesto.
The fashion industry is exploiting workers and destroying the planet. We need a transition to a low carbon fashion industry that values people and restores nature, not one that exploits both for profit. This is a Just Transition to a renewed future of fashion.
