- +Comment from a member of the Degrowth collective, Czech republic: There could be a decolonial perspective here, which I feel is somewhat lacking. By decolonization, I mean breaking down the generally subordinate/peripheral position of the global South, which is systematically undervalued in all indicators because it is subject to the conditions of the core. Without this, the relationship will never be equal, and the West will continue to exploit the South until "we have equal pay for equal work," which would mean that production would not take place there at all, because it would not make sense.
