Does presence of the workers in the board ensure the "more environmental" processes?

Feedback from the member of Degrowth collective in Czech republic: I'm not sure if the mere presence of workers on the board will ensure greener processes.

Are there any other requirements that should be imposed? What should be required of companies (longer service life, repair guarantee), transfer of profits to funds, otherwise a higher tax rate, preferential treatment for sustainable companies (which companies) with lower taxes subsidized by higher taxation of unsustainable companies?
