How can we protect the right to association and protest?

In the context of shrinking space, we see that more and more governments worldwide do not recognize trade unions as legitimate stakeholders. The right to protest is being curtailed, climate activists are being threatened worldwide... Social dialogue is also limited, not promoted and only apparent. This is a real obstacle for trade unions to have meaningful discussions on a just transition.
