La presenza dei sindacati è importante oltre che per la tutela dei lavoratori con contratti equi, salari adeguati, sicurezza sul lavoro, rispetto della persona e ambiente, anche perché hanno la possibilità di dialogare con il governo del paese e sollecitare azioni e leggi nazionali a cui tutti, anche aziende estere, devono sottostare.
La globalizzazione ha creato una connessione profonda tra tutti i settori produttivi, pertanto, le problematiche che si verificano in un settore spesso si ripercuotono anche su settori collegati. Migliorare la qualità di vita delle persone dipende da tutti noi e solo informando e coinvolgendo tutti gli ‘attori’ si può creare un movimento di denuncia ben strutturata affinché i cittadini siano più sensibilizzati su scelte e comportamenti volti ad un cambiamento positivo.
